Educators Archana Panicker and Gayatri Dave from the Centre for Environment Education (CEE) represented India at the COP29 Climate Change Summer Camp 2025 in Shamakhi, Azerbaijan.
The five-day camp brought together 46 early-career educators from 20 countries, along with 10 local participants, to strengthen global climate change education. Sessions focused on climate science, its causes and impacts, and strategies for mitigation and adaptation.
The programme also served as a lead-up to COP29, scheduled to be held in Baku later this year.
