Three men were injured in a knife attack by four bike-borne assailants near Sonal Char Rasta in Juhapura, Ahmedabad, on Sunday evening.According to the FIR lodged at Vejalpur Police Station by Aman Sheikh (24), a car washer from Juhapura, he and his friends Mohammad Saheed and Mohammad Sultan were travelling on a Suzuki Burgman when a black Activa intercepted them around 6.15 pm. One of the men allegedly claimed he was going to “seize” Aman’s two-wheeler before stabbing him in the back and chest. When his friends intervened, Sultan suffered a deep cut on his hand and Saheed sustained injuries to his arm.A fourth man on a Splendour bike allegedly joined the assault before all the attackers fled. Passers-by alerted emergency services, and the injured were rushed to Sola Civil Hospital. Doctors said Aman received nine stitches, Sultan four, while Saheed escaped with minor wounds.Police have registered a case of attempt to murder, assault, and abuse under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Officials said efforts are underway to identify the assailants using CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts. The case has been handed over to the crime branch for investigation.
