The Gujarat government has appointed Prof. Bhalchandra Mahadeo Bhanage, a Chemistry professor at the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, as the new Vice Chancellor of The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU), Vadodara.
His appointment, made under Section 10(4) of the Gujarat Public Universities Act, 2023, will be valid for five years from the date he takes charge or until he turns 65, whichever is earlier.
