Adani International School is partnering with the International Schools Sports Organisation (ISSO) to raise the standard of sports in India’s international schools. Mrs. Namrata Adani, Promoter of the school, has joined ISSO’s Advisory Board to help shape its vision and long-term plans.Founded in 2017, ISSO is the only sports body in India dedicated to international curriculum schools such as IB, Cambridge, and Edexcel. With 430+ schools, 22 sports, and over 300 tournaments annually, it has benefited more than 22,000 students.Through this partnership, Adani International School will help ISSO expand sports infrastructure, improve athlete training, and encourage global participation. Both institutions aim to balance academics with physical education, creating well-rounded student-athletes.ISSO already works with bodies like the School Games Federation of India and the International School Sport Federation, enabling students to compete in top events like Khelo India Games, the Subroto Cup, and ISF World Championships.The collaboration will bring more structured, transparent competitions and enhance student-athlete profiles for global university admissions, empowering the next generation to excel in both studies and sports.
