As Ganesh Chaturthi approaches, artisans are busy making idols of Dada. People are turning towards eco-friendly idols to avoid harming the environment. For the first time, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation will be selling idols made from cow dung. This is the first time that the Municipal Corporation has organized this kind of event. In addition to the idol of the Lord made from cow dung, lamps, incense sticks and other worship materials are also being prepared.
