Gujarat Maritime University is holding a three-day workshop on International Environmental Law. Participants will learn about global and Indian environmental laws, including topics like climate and forest governance, tribal rights, and wildlife crime investigation. The workshop is organized by GMU’s Centre for Maritime Environmental Law, along with Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University and GNLU’s Centre for Environment, Sustainability and Climate Justice. It was inaugurated by Dr Justice Kaushal Thaker, Chairperson of the Gujarat Human Rights Commission, with Prof (Dr) S. Shanthakumar and Shikhar Ranjan also present.
