Several drones were intercepted at multiple locations in Jammu and Kashmir, one in Punjab, and one in Rajasthan.
For the second consecutive day, Pakistan launched a series of drone attacks on Friday targeting nearly 20 cities across Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Gujarat. Among the targets was an air base in Awantipora, which, along with other attempted strikes, was successfully thwarted by Indian defence systems.
Multiple drones were reported over Jammu, Samba, Rajouri, Pathankot, Amritsar, Jaisalmer, Barmer, and Pokhran, while heavy artillery exchanges were witnessed along the Line of Control in areas such as Kupwara, Poonch, Uri, Nowgam, and Handwara.
