With temperatures soaring and the sun beating down on the city streets, a thoughtful summer support drive was launched to assist Ahmedabad’s traffic police personnel, who endure long hours in the heat while managing the city’s traffic flow. As part of the initiative, 1,000 glucose packets and 20 large umbrellas were distributed across 20 key traffic junctions in the city.
The initiative of HOF Pharmaceutical Limitedbegan at the ISCON junction and extended to high-traffic areas, including CG Road, Ashram Road, SG Highway, Helmet Circle, Jodhpur Crossroad, Judges Bungalow Crossroad, and other crucial points.
The drive is aimed at addressing the physical toll that extreme summer conditions take on traffic police officers. The umbrellas will provide shade at critical posts, and the glucose packets are intended to help officers stay hydrated and energized throughout their shifts.
