The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2025 till March 24. Students can check the notification on the official website of CUET at cuet.nta.nic.in.
Earlier, the last date to apply was March 22. The last date to pay the application fee is now March 25.
Applicants can edit the registration form between March 26 to 28, 2025. As per the schedule, the CUET UG 2025 will take place from May 8 to June 1.
“In continuation to the Public Notice dated 01 March 2025 regarding submission of online application form for CUET (UG) 2025 and in response to the multiple requests received from candidates to extend the last date for submission of online application form, NTA has decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for CUET (UG) -2025, enabling the aspiring candidate(s) to apply for the said exam,” reads the official notice by NTA
CUET UG 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet one of the following educational qualifications:
- Passed the 12th examination from a recognised state or central board, or
- Passed an Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination from a recognised University or Board, or
- Completed the Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination, or
- Obtained a Diploma recognized by AICTE or State Board with a minimum duration of three years, or
Passed the Senior Secondary examination conducted by NIOS with at least five subjects. - Those who have successfully completed the final examination of the two-year course at the Joint Services Wing of NDA are also eligible to apply.
CUET UG 2025 Registration: Documents Required
While applying for CUET UG 2025, students will have to submit some important documents along with the form including:
10th and 12th mark sheet and certificate
- Date of Birth Certificate
- Scanned photo
- Scanned copy of signature
- Category certificate in PDF format (if applicable)
- Bank account details for fee payment
- Email ID and phone number

Step 1 – Visit the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2 – Go to the CUET UG Registration link 2025 on the homepage.
Step 3 – Fill out the application form, and pay the fees.
Step 4 – Click on submit and download the confirmation page.
Step 5 – Take a printout of the CUET UG registration form for future reference.
It is necessary to pass CUET UG for admission to most of the central, state, private, and deemed to be universities across the country. It is a computer-based test and will be held for a total of 23 subjects in the exam. Candidates will be able to appear for the exam for a maximum of five subjects.
