Visamo Kids Foundation, a shelter home committed to providing education to underprivileged children, took a group of students on an experiential tour of the Akashwani office (All India Radio) in Ahmedabad. The visit was organised to mark World NGO Day, observed on February 27 each year to acknowledge the contributions of NGOs.
The children explored different studios and got a behind-the-scenes look at how storytelling comes to life on radio. The children learned how professional audio recordings are made and also recorded their own stories. The visit was an enriching experience for the children, inspiring them with new possibilities for the future.
