IIM Ahmedabad has successfully completed the Final Placement process for MBA (Post Graduate Programme in Management- PGP) Class of 2025. Firms from multiple domains participated across the three clusters in Final placements, with all students placed across 30 cohorts.
Cluster-Cohort Placement System
The placement process began with the Laterals Placements Processes which was conducted from 6th to 21st January 2025. The firms interviewed students with prior work experience and offered them roles in middle and senior management positions. A multitude of firms participated from diverse sectors such as technology, banking, finance, consulting, analytics, etc.
In the Finals Placements processes, which followed the Laterals Process, firms were grouped into cohorts based on their core business and industry profile, and groups of cohorts were invited to campus across different clusters. In keeping with the practice from the previous years, students were provided the opportunities of making “dream” applications to firms of their choice in subsequent clusters, even with an offer in hand. The purpose of the dream applications is to allow students to find a job that aligns closely with the jobs they aspire to work for. There was a 16% increase in the number of dreamers this cycle when compared to the previous year.
