In today’s increasingly digital world, online safety is becoming more and more critical. To mark Safer Internet Usage Day, Delhi Public School (DPS) Bopalorganised an insightful session on cybersecurity awareness for its teachers and staff. The session was conducted by Ankit Moradiya, Manager – Information Security at Analytix Solutions, who provided valuable insights into modern cyber threats and best practices for staying safe online.
Mr. Moradiya provided crucial insights on how to detect data breaches and check if any personal or official accounts have been compromised. He also shed light on the rising threat of cybercrimes using AI, such as deepfake technology and voice cloning, which are being used for identity theft and scams.
The participants learned about common attack methods like phishing, where attackers try to trick individuals into revealing sensitive information, and how hackers inject malicious code into phones through untrusted APKs, allowing them to access personal data such as call history, SMS, and more. They were educated on how to protect themselves against these threats and ensure their digital security.
