Vikram A Sarabhal Community Science Centre (VASCSC), Ahmedabad and We Are All Humans (WAAH) Foundation have collaborated to popularise and promote two major initiatives: Setting up school-level WAAH Community Science Centres (STEM Labs) and WAAH Science Laureate Awards – to encourage and recognise individuals and scientific communities for their innovative work aimed at solving various societal challenges through scientific research.
As a part of this combined engagement, VASCSC and WAAH Foundation held the WAAH Science Laureates Awards 2024 Ceremony, in the city. Two science competitions STEM Model Making and Elocution were also conducted on the day of the award ceremony for school children. In the STEM Model Making competition, 22 teams competed and exhibited their STEM models. 41 students competed in the elocution competition.
