LJ Institute of Pharmacy organised a PIILLS (Pharmacy Industry Institute Linked Lecture Series) titled “Herbal Cosmetics: Trends, Insights, and Innovation”.
It was led by Vikhyati Dedania, Business Development Manager at Cosmetics Concept Research and Founder of Nichessential Care in Ahmedabad. The session was attended by approximately 125 students and 30 faculty members. She emphasised that herbal treatments have been utilised by Indians for many years, making India the finest market for researching various formulations in the market, including skin, hair, bathing, and fragrance items.
In recent years, the herbal cosmetics market has seen remarkable growth, valued at $90 billion in 2022 and expected to surpass $150 billion by 2030. She also emphasized the key factors driving this trend including the increasing awareness around health and wellness.
