Students who are not enrolled in any school will be able take their board exams via GSOS
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has introduced the Gujarat State Open School (GSOS) to facilitate distance learning for students who wish to complete their secondary and higher secondary education independently. This initiative aims to provide an opportunity for students who have not been enrolled in a school or have dropped out for various reasons.
Students from classes 10 and 12 (general stream) can register through GSOS to appear for their board exams. Students can also register for classes 9 and 11 to complete their secondary and higher secondary education. This provision benefits students who have never been admitted to a school or those who have not attended a secondary or higher secondary school.
For more information, students can visit nearby government or grant- in-aid secondary and higher secondary schools and complete their registration process for the academic year 2025-2026.
