The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is anticipated to release the schedule for NEET PG 2024 counselling on November 11, 2024, as per reports from the Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA). FORDA confirmed, “NEET PG 2024 counselling to begin latest by 11th of November. The 4-month delay makes the timeline for #2025 challenging. The vicious cycle continues for the 3rd year straight. Will this ever end?”
Candidates who took the NEET PG 2024 exam and await counselling can soon check the schedule on the official MCC website. Once available, they will be able to select their preferred colleges and courses through the MCC portal.
Survankar Datta, president of the Federation of All India Association (FAIMA), also indicated that the schedule would be announced shortly, following the resolution of recent issues delaying its release.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court is set to hear a plea on November 19 addressing concerns over discrepancies in the NEET PG results and a request for the release of the answer key.
The NEET PG 2024 examination, held on August 11 across 170 cities at 416 centers, saw a total of 228,540 candidates registered. The first shift saw 107,959 candidates appear, while the second shift had 108,177 candidates. Results were declared on August 23.
