1,105 students awarded degrees across disciplines, 23 students receive gold medal.
Karnavati University honoured the achievements of 1,105 students at its 5th convocation ceremony, held on Saturday at its Uvarsad campus. The university awarded degrees across various disciplines, while 23 stu- dents received gold medals for their outstanding academic performance.
The event saw prominent personalities, including AICTE Chairman Dr TG Sitharam, who was chief guest, Adani Enterprises Director Pranav Adani, National award-winning actor Pankaj Kapur, President Elect of the World Design Organization Pradyumna Vyas, senior advocate Saurabh Soparkar and Ahmedabad Mirror & Navgujarat Samay Group Editor Ajay Umat. These dignitaries were awarded Honorary Doctorates for their contributions to their respective fields.
In his address, Karnavati University President Ritesh Hada highlighted the institution’s integration of Al and the Indian Knowledge System into its curriculum, and encouraged graduates to contribute to the society through community service. Dr Sitharam congratulated the students, emphasising the importance of lifelong learning and the role of education in shaping the future of India
Pranav Adani expressed his gratitude for the honorary degree, encouraging graduates to embrace their potential to shape a ‘New India’. Pankaj Kapur, in his characteristic style, praised the youth for their energy and potential to lead India forward. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Rutvij Patel, who acknowledged the efforts of university staff, faculty, students, and their families in making the event a success.
