An Ahmedabad youth’s love for making Instagram reels with gold jewellery, SUV and scorpions ended up attracting the attention of robbers. Assuming from his reels that he must be rich, four miscreants abducted him and robbed him of Rs 50,000. They had even planned to demand a ransom of Rs 20 lakh from his father.
On July 28, Yuvrajsinh Solanki, a resident of Lilapur village in Ahmedabad, was travelling to another village when he was stopped by some men who asked for a lift.
When Solanki agreed, the men got into the car. They drugged him, tied him up and then took away his personal belongings and cash, totalling Rs 50,000. After waking up, Solanki called his family and informed them of his situation.
A team of Sanand GIDC Police and Ahmedabad Rural LCB and SOG got into action and arrested Bharat Chudasma (30), Sumit Jatav (20) and Vikasdeep Singh Dhaliwal (24).
They are now searching for an accused named Ranjit who is absconding.
