Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Ltd. (SRFDCL) has invited a proposal to install new advertising and signage displays along the Sabarmati Riverfront. The installations will include advanced advertising solutions, such as real-time and mobile-enabled Variable Messaging Displays (VMDs). These VMDs will also help in displaying emergency messages via mobile platforms.
These displays will be strategically placed to ensure visibility and functionality across key locations within the Sabarmati Riverfront Phase-1 area, promoting both aesthetic appeal and functional utility. The installation will take place on both the west and east sides of the river bank.
Moreover, they plan to evaluate optimal advertising opportunities and revenue models for different types of displays, such as Kiosks, Gantries, VMD, LED Hoarding, Pole Kiosks, Cylindrical LEDs, Glow Sign Boards, 3-D Boards, and Backlit Banners.
SRFDCL aims to enhance the area with various types of advertising media in a Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. A sustainable revenue-sharing model for VMDs will be developed to ensure financial viability and efficient operation.
