Users on UPI-enabled apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, and Paytm are facing hurdles while making payments, throwing a wrench in daily transactions and highlighting the growing pain points of our increasingly cashless society.
Downdetector, a website tracking service outages, confirmed the reports and saw a surge in complaints related to UPI, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and HDFC Bank. Users specifically mentioned troubles with “Fund Transfer” functionality within their respective banks.
