Delhi Public School-Bopal came alive on the bright morning of 5 September 2023 as we gathered to honour and acknowledge the dynamic teachers. This special occasion served as a testament to the educators’ tireless efforts and unwavering commitment, which is significant in guiding the youth throughout life and enabling them to foster their dreams.
The day commenced with a thoughtful assembly, brimming with enthusiasm in respect to our teachers. The students presented a captivating array of performances, including songs, dances, school life-based drama, all of which showcased the beautiful bond shared between teachers and students. The vibrant decorations added an air of festivity, enveloping the school in an aura of appreciation.
The torchbearers of the school Ms. Vandna Joshi, the Director quoted that the teachers are the constant motivators and Ms. Sabina Sawhney the Principal of DPS-Bopal, acknowledged the contribution of the teachers as real heroes. With a warm smile, expressed gratitude, acknowledging the teachers’ ceaseless efforts to ignite the flames of knowledge.
Twenty-Six teachers were felicitated with the Kalorex Core Values awards in different categories and the Excellent Teacher Program to commend their efforts. The highlight of the day was that 35 teachers were bestowed with Performance Quotient award for their contribution to the excellent board results of the school in class X and XII.
The corridors echoed with laughter, conversations, and shared memories. The atmosphere was infused with the spirit of gratitude, reinforcing the idea that teachers are not just educators, but mentors who leave an indelible mark on the lives of the students.
The Head Boy and Head Girl rendered the vote of thanks and the students made a promise to continue appreciating the lessons taught, the values instilled, and the support provided by our teachers. As the assembly concluded, the aura of respect and admiration lingered, reiterating that Teachers’ Day is not just one-day celebration, but a constant recognition of the role the teachers’ play in shaping the future.
Indeed, Teachers’ Day was a beautiful testament to the fact that our teachers are guiding lights, illuminating the path of our futures with their wisdom, dedication, and love.
