Detroj police of Ahmedabad district arrested a man for transporting 114 litres of country liquor on his scooter.
Bhavesh Thakor, 34, a resident of Balasar village in Kadi taluka, Mehsana district, was intercepted by a police patrol near Jivapura Patiya in Detroj.
The cops stopped Thakor’s scooter and saw that it had three large plastic sacks.
They checked the sacks and found that he was hiding twp-pouches of country liquor. The cops counted the pouches and and found a total of 57, for a total of 114 litres. the estimated value of the seized liquor is Rs 2,280.
