The Amdavad Municipal Corporation will spent six crore rupees for mosquito killing in monsoon. Five crores will be spent in five months to get 683 vector control workers.
Last year from June-2022 to November-2022, a total of 515 vector control man power was procured from various agencies to control the mosquito-borne epidemic in seven zones of the city at a cost of more than Rs 2.18 crore.
According to another proposal approved by the Health Committee in the meeting, HPC Corporation which is technically qualified for the operation of indoor residential spray at a price of Rs 13.30 paisa per room after negotiation, One Pest Care India Pvt Ltd has been allowed to operate within the limits of Rs 42 lakh for operating in the ward area of East Zone as per single round at the price of Rs 10.45 paise per room.
