Salman Khan’s 2023 Eid release, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ is all set to be released on OTT platforms, following the end of its journey at the box office. According to reports, the film had earned a little over 100 crores and became the latest in the line of Salman Khan starters which failed to impress.
At the domestic box office, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ earned around Rs 101.26 crore net. It did well in the Nizam/ Andhra market within India and at the overseas box office, the film earned over $6 million (Rs 52.75 crore). In the Gulf, around Eid, the film scored $2.50 million, which is the best on record after Pathaan, after the pandemic.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s world release is going to be held on 26th May according to some reports. The film is also set to release on Zee 5 this Friday.
The worldwide total for the film is Rs 175 crore, which is less than Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’, which scored Rs 195 crore. Directed by Farhad Samji, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ starred Salman, Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Bhumika Chawla, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Shehnaaz Gill, Tanikella Bharani and Jagapathi Babu.
The film is a remake of the 2014 Tamil film ‘Veeram’, and follows a similar story of the eldest brother in a family, who refuses to marry since he believes it may create disharmony in his joint family. His brothers, who’ve already found partners, come together to find the perfect match for him.
