Newly appointed Ambassador of the United States Eric Garcetti on Monday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership skills and also appreciated his government’s policies.
Addressing a gathering, Eric Garcetti said that India is in “such wonderful hands.”

“India is in such wonderful hands. With your leadership, with the transformative policies that you and this administration are implementing together with the public sector and private sector and with that community aspect that defines everything that is part of India’s rise right now. This is the most exciting nexus in the world, The US-India relationship is where it is at..,” he added.
Last Friday, taking to Twitter, Garcetti shared over a minute-long video clip of his ‘most memorable’ moments from his week-long meeting with many renowned public figures in Ahmedabad and Mumbai. He captioned it, “This week, I spent time in the incredible cities of Ahmedabad and Mumbai meeting key stakeholders, discussing strategies, and enriching the longstanding partnership between the United States and India. Here’s a glimpse into some of my most memorable moments from the trip.
The video featured his visit to the iconic Gateway of India, a car ride with Anand Mahindra, meeting Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, attending an Indian Premier League match, and meeting Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, among other events.
