Heeraben Modi, mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. 99-year-old Heeraben has been admitted to Ahmedabad’s UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Center. She reportedly struggled with high blood pressure but her condition is now stable.
On December 4, PM Narendra Modi visited his mother in Gandhinagar. PM Modi could be seen touching his mother’s feet in the photos. PM sat next to his mother for his evening tea as well.
PM Modi also met her mother on her 99th birthday in June. To mark her centenary entry, PM Modi had also written an emotional blog titled ‘Mother’. At that time, the prime minister said “A mother not only gives birth to her children, but also shapes their mind, their personality, and their self-confidence.,” Modi wrote.
