A Delhi court granted actor Jacqueline Fernandez bail in a Rs 200 crore money laundering case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekar on Tuesday.
Special Judge Shailendra Malik granted the relief in exchange for a Rs 50,000 personal bond and one surety of the same amount.
On August 31, the judge took cognizance of a supplementary charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate and summoned Fernandez to appear in court.
Fernandez, who had been summoned several times by the ED in connection with the investigation, was named as an accused for the first time in the supplementary charge sheet.
The ED’s initial charge sheet and subsequent charge sheet did not name her as an accused.
However, the documents mentioned the specifics of the statements recorded by Fernandez and fellow actor Nora Fatehi.
