‘GoFirst Hay, Hay!’ Airline passengers cause havoc at airport in response to flight delay

GoFirst, India’s domestic airline, has run into problems with its passengers yet again. Passengers on the airline became dissatisfied with flight cancellations and delays and began protesting in front of the crew. Social media users have shared a video of GoFirst passengers protesting in a group. The video shows a crowd of passengers yelling, “GoFirst Hay Hay!” in protest of their delayed flight. For the same reason, such complaints from airline passengers on social media have recently increased.

Taking note of the incident, GoFirst responded to the video, saying, “We very sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to you on account of unprecedented delay on BLR-AMD flight. This has happened due to a technical development while the aircraft reached BLR.” The airline added, “GoFirst is extremely conscious of its responsibilities towards the safety of its passengers and will always stand to protect it.”

In the comments, the airline addressed the Bengaluru-Ahmedabad flight delay. However, the passenger complained about another flight delay in another tweet. The passenger said, “My GoFirst flight from Delhi to Mumbai got rescheduled twice in last 12 hours from 5.30 pm to 11.30 pm now. Pathetic experience. No one is answering calls on helpline. Have some important work in Bombay. Kindly call back & get this sorted. “

Better not to book #GoFirst , no flight to fly customers. Worst experience. Worst service. @MoCA_GoI #Bangalore @JM_Scindia pic.twitter.com/TXffIcCXWm

The airline’s punctuality has recently become a source of concern. This effect would be temporary due to concerns about aircraft availability. On November 11, 12, and 13, Go First passengers faced one of the airline’s worst punctuality records. Many complaints are being made on social media platforms these days.

My #gofirst flight from Delhi to Mumbai got rescheduled twice in last 12 hours from 5.30 pm to 11.30 pm now. Pathetic experience. No one is answering calls on helpline. Have some important work in Bombay. Kindly call back & get this sorted @GoFirstairways @DGCAIndia @MoCA_GoI
