Following repeated failures at ICC events, the Indian cricket board is preparing to knock on the door of the person who has conquered World events at will. Following the failure of the T20 World Cup in Australia, the BCCI is planning to send an SOS to MS Dhoni for a Big Role in the Indian T20 Cricket setup. According to BCCI sources, the board is debating whether to offer Dhoni a Fixed Role in Indian cricket.
MS Dhoni Director of T20 Cricket?
Dhoni worked with the team in an interim capacity during the T20 World Cup 2021 in the UAE. The involvement for about a week did not produce the desired results, as the team was eliminated in the first round. The BCCI, on the other hand, believes that a larger and larger role would undoubtedly benefit the Indian T20 setup.
According to the report, Dhoni will retire from cricket after the IPL next year. Following that, the BCCI is eager to put his experience and technical acumen to good use, and the former Indian captain will be involved.
When is BCCI APEX Council Meeting?
The APEX Council meeting date has yet to be determined. However, an official board meeting is scheduled for the last week of this month.
