Ahmedabad on Wednesday recorded 40.2 degrees Celsius of maximum temperature
Meanwhile, Rajkot registered a maximum temperature of 39.2 degrees Celsius, Dessa recorded 38.4 degrees C, Vadodara recorded 38.2 degrees Celsius and Bhuj recorded of 37.4 degrees Celsius while Surat registered a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius
Ahmedabad had the highest maximum temperature in the region.
As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Light to moderate rain or thundershowers very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region namely Ahmedabad, Anand and Vadodara; in the districts of Saurashtra namely Bhavnagar, Rajkot and Amreli for the next five days from June 9.
As per the IMD’s forecast, Dry weather very likely in the remaining districts of Gujarat region and Saurashtra- Kutch and in Diu, Daman & Dadra Nagar Haveli.
