A private travel bus carrying around 70 passengers from Ahmedabad to Jaipur suddenly caught fire after a massive fire broke out.
According to reports, the Summer Travels bus was on its way to Jaipur from Ahmedabad on Saturday. However, when they arrived near Kelwa on the national highway in the morning, the rear tyre of the bus caught fire.
When the driver and operator noticed the fire in the bus, they parked it and fled. Passengers, on the other hand, saved their lives by barely jumping off the bus.
At the same time, even after the fire department arrived to put out the fire, the bus remained smouldering with the blasts for an hour. Not only that, but the traffic system was also disrupted for an hour as a result of the smoking bus on the four-lane highway.
When people in the neighbourhood saw the fire in the bus, they rushed to the scene and called the police and fire department, though the fire had already taken a severe form. The fire brigade from the Municipal Council Rajsamand rushed to the scene after receiving information in this case, and the firemen began efforts to douse the fire, but by then the fire had become uncontrollable.
As a result, the burning bus began to emit sounds similar to firecracker explosions. As a result of the fire in the bus on the highway, traffic came to a halt, and the fire department and police were only able to contain the blaze.
