Deepika Padukone is representing India at 75th Cannes Film Festival as one of the jury members. At the Marche Du Cinema, India has been named the first ‘country of honour.’
On the third day of the event, the actress wore a heart-shaped red gown with an elegant diamond neckpiece. To complete her festival look, the actress pulled her hair back into a bun. Take a look at the photos here:
Earlier, Deepika had expressed that someday Cannes Film Festival will be hosted in India. She had said, “We have the talent, we have the ability and I think we just sort of need that conviction and I truly believe there will come a day won’t be at Cannes, Cannes would be at India.”
On the work front, Deepika will next feature in ‘Pathaan’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film has been slated to hit the theatres in January 2023.
