The 75th Cannes Film Festival has begun in France. It is an annual film festival that features new films from around the world. This year’s Cannes Film Market features India as the Official Country of Honour.
Several Indian celebrities, including Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Hina Khan, and Helly Shah, are expected to attend the star-studded event.
Deepika, who is on the competition jury, made her first official appearance at the Cannes jury dinner recently, looking stunning as ever.
For the evening, the actor opted for a multi-coloured striped sleeveless Louis Vuitton mini dress which featured sequinned vertical stripes in red, blue and golden. She teamed the look with a pair of heeled brown boots.
Accessorising the look with a Cartier watch and a Louis Vuitton handbag, she completed the look with hair styled in beachy waves and minimal makeup.
Prior to this, the Gehraiyaan actor had also posted a mini vlog on her social media, announcing her arrival in Cannes.
Deepika Padukone was joined by Thierry Fremaux, a Cannes Film Festival director, Jeff Nichols, a US film director and member of the Official Selection Jury, Rebecca Hall, a British actress and member of the Official Selection Jury, and Jasmine Trinca, an Italian actress and member of the Official Selection Jury.
In terms of work, Deepika will next appear in Pathaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Aside from that, she has Amitabh Bachchan’s The Intern, Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter, and Prabhas’ Project K.
