For the next few days, Ahmedabad may witness a rise in minimum temperatures due to a cyclonic circulation in the Arabian Sea.
According to a report, due to the cyclonic circulation, light to moderate rainfall is expected in coastal Gujarat from Thursday.
“The cyclonic circulation and associated trough along with a low-pressure area is currently off the coast of Goa and southern Maharashtra,” TOI quoted Manorama Mohanty, head of IMD Gujarat, as saying.
The system would bring light to moderate rains in the coastal regions of Saurashtra and south Gujarat along with some parts of central Gujarat, she added.
With this, the minimum temperature may increase for the next three days, after which a gradual drop in mercury is expected.
