The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) will keep all seven zonal civic centres open on Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays of every month to make municipal services more accessible to residents.
The civic centres will operate from 9 am to 4.30 pm on these days, allowing people who cannot visit during regular working days to access various civic services on holidays.
The AMC has urged residents to take full advantage of the facility and use the extended service hours for their municipal work.
