The State Quota admission schedule for postgraduate (PG) medical courses has been announced, with the first round of admissions scheduled from October 21 to November 2.
Students allotted seats in the first round must complete their joining formalities by November 10.The admission process was expected to be delayed following protests over the declaration of PG medical results. Meanwhile, the registration process has been completed, with 6,305 students completing registration and verification.
A total of 6,354 PINs were distributed, while 6,340 students registered.Around 3,400 PG medical seats are currently available across colleges. Of these, 700 seats fall under the All India Quota, leaving approximately 2,700 seats under the State Quota. More than 400 additional seats are expected to be added this year.
The second round of admissions under the All India Quota will take place from November 6 to 14, while the State Quota’s second round is scheduled from November 14 to 23. Students allotted seats in the second round must complete their joining formalities by November 30.
