Gujarat University has postponed the PhD entrance examination for the 2026–27 academic session. The exam, earlier scheduled for September 26, will now be held on October 3 from 12 noon to 2 pm at KS School of Business Management.
In-charge Vice-Chancellor Jagdish Joshi said the decision was taken after several aspirants reported difficulties in completing document verification due to heavy rains and other issues.
To help candidates who could not submit their documents, the university has opened a relief window on September 23 and 24. Pending hard-copy documents can be submitted at the respective departments during this period.
