A new railway section between Jobat and Tanda Road has been inaugurated as part of the Chhota Udepur-Dhar railway project, improving rail connectivity in remote and tribal areas of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.A new train service between Tanda Road and Pratapnagar station in Vadodara was also flagged off.The new rail link is expected to make travel easier for people in tribal areas and improve access to education, healthcare and employment opportunities. 28-Km Rail Section Built at ₹553 Crore
The newly inaugurated Jobat-Tanda Road section is 28 km long and was constructed at an estimated cost of ₹553 crore.The section is expected to strengthen rail connectivity between Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, particularly benefiting residents of remote and tribal regions.
