More than 200 people from different age groups participated in community games organised by SciKnowTech Education Foundation and Kreeda Tantra at Savvy Swaraj Sports Club to mark National Sports Day.
Children aged five and above, adults and senior citizens took part in a range of activities, including tug of war, javelin throw, high jump, tyre races and ring-o-stick.
The event was attended by Anoushka Parikh, Gujarat’s first badminton player to win an international medal. She encouraged people to make sports and physical activity a regular part of their daily lives, while highlighting the importance of discipline, teamwork, resilience and leadership.
The event concluded with a medal distribution ceremony honouring the winners.
