Students of FOBA-FILS at GLS University celebrated Raksha Bandhan early with an initiative aimed at promoting inclusion and supporting visually impaired girls at Andh Kanya Prakash Gruh in the city.
Under the Samvedna Social Activity Club initiative, 209 students, supported by 15 volunteers, bought handmade rakhis made by the girls at the NGO and sold them on the university campus. The money raised was handed over to the NGO.
The initiative aimed to encourage the girls’ creativity and inspire students to look beyond the festive celebrations and contribute to the community.
