Amid forecasts of extremely heavy rainfall across several parts of Gujarat, including Ahmedabad, the State Examination Board (SEB) and the Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) have postponed their upcoming examinations. Both authorities have announced revised dates.
TAT-HS main exam rescheduled
The Teacher Aptitude Test (Higher Secondary) – 2026 (TAT-HS) Gujarati Medium Main Examination, originally scheduled for August 2, will now be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
The SEB said candidates do not need to download a new hall ticket. The previously issued admit card will remain valid, and the examination centre and timing will remain unchanged.
Candidates can check the latest updates on the SEB’s official website.
GPSC preliminary exam postponed
The GPSC Preliminary Examination, which was scheduled for Saturday, August 1, has also been postponed due to the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) heavy rain forecast.
The exam will now be conducted on Sunday, August 9, from 11 am to 12 noon.
