Gujarat University has issued fresh guidelines to strengthen security and maintenance measures across its campus following directions from the Vice-Chancellor.
The instructions have been circulated to security officers, security agencies and heads of departments, calling for heightened vigilance and stricter monitoring across the university premises.
Security personnel have been directed to conduct regular inspections and ensure that no suspicious or unauthorised items are left unattended anywhere on the campus. Officials have also been asked to remain alert and take proactive measures to maintain safety and security.
Heads of departments and estate officials have been instructed to ensure proper cleanliness, maintenance and security of their respective buildings, classrooms and surrounding areas. They have further been asked to take necessary precautions to prevent the presence of suspicious or unauthorised materials within their premises.
The university has urged all departments to implement the measures at their respective levels to enhance campus safety, hygiene and discipline for students, staff and visitors.
