TiE Ahmedabad has earned international recognition by winning two prestigious honours at the 2026 TiE Global Awards, presented during the Charter Members’ Retreat held in Marseille, France, from July 3 to 6.
The Ahmedabad chapter received the Best Support to Youth Entrepreneurs (High School) award for its flagship TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) programme, which encourages entrepreneurial thinking among school students. The programme helps participants develop skills in innovation, business fundamentals, leadership, teamwork and problem-solving through mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts.
TiE Ahmedabad’s Executive Director, Lavita Gomez, was honoured with the Best Executive Director award in recognition of her leadership and contribution to the chapter’s continued growth, stronger outreach and expanding impact within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
