The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday announced the results of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026, paving the way for admissions to undergraduate programmes offered by universities across the country.
Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check and download their scorecards from the official CUET website. With the results declared, the admission process at central, state, deemed and private universities that accept CUET scores is expected to commence shortly.
CUET UG has emerged as one of India’s largest entrance examinations for undergraduate admissions. This year, more than 11.64 lakh candidates appeared for the test, reflecting its growing importance as a common gateway to higher education institutions nationwide.
Universities will now begin releasing their admission schedules, counselling details and merit criteria based on CUET scores. Candidates have been advised to regularly check the websites of their preferred institutions for updates regarding the admission process.
