To accommodate the increased passenger rush ahead of the NEET examination, Western Railway’s Mumbai Division has announced the operation of two special trains with special fares on June 20, 2026.
According to Western Railway, Train No. 09471 Bandra Terminus–Maninagar Special will depart from Bandra Terminus at 9:15 pm on June 20 and arrive at Maninagar at 6:00 am the following day.
In addition, Train No. 09351 Bandra Terminus–Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Special will leave Bandra Terminus at 6:20 pm on June 20 and reach Dr. Ambedkar Nagar at 11:30 am the next day.
The special services have been introduced primarily to facilitate the travel of NEET aspirants and manage the additional passenger demand during the examination period.
Reservations for both trains opened at 8:00 am on June 19 and can be booked through railway reservation counters as well as the IRCTC website.
Western Railway has urged passengers, especially students appearing for the NEET examination, to make use of these special train services for a comfortable and convenient journey.
