The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the city intimation slips for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination, allowing candidates to check the city where their exam centre has been allotted ahead of the test scheduled for June 21.
Students can view and download their city intimation slips by logging into the official NEET portal using their application number and password. The NTA clarified that this document is only meant to inform candidates about their allotted exam city and should not be confused with the admit card.
Announcing the update on X, the agency stated, “City Intimation Slip is now LIVE. Candidates can now check their allotted examination city for NEET-UG 2026.”
The NTA also reminded candidates that admit cards will be issued separately closer to the examination date.
The re-examination is being conducted following the cancellation of the NEET-UG exam held on May 3 amid controversy over alleged paper leaks. More than 23 lakh students are expected to appear for the fresh examination.
According to the official schedule, the NEET-UG 2026 re-exam will be held on June 21 from 2 pm to 5.15 pm in pen-and-paper mode. The test will be conducted across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.
City intimation slips are released in advance to help candidates plan their travel and accommodation arrangements before the examination. The document provides information about the examination city, while complete details of the exam centre and venue will be available on the admit card.
