The Digital Gujarat Portal has reopened the application process for Post-Matric Scholarship schemes for students who missed applying during the academic years from 2022-23 to 2025-26.
Officials said several eligible students from reserved categories could not complete their applications earlier due to issues such as missing documents, procedural delays and technical problems related to portal access.
The fresh application window will remain open from May 26 to June 8. The reopening applies to various scholarship schemes offered by both the state and central governments through the Digital Gujarat Portal.
District education offices have been instructed to inform schools, colleges and eligible students about the extended deadline so that pending applications can be submitted within the given period.
The decision is expected to help many students who met the eligibility criteria but were left out of scholarship benefits in previous academic years.
