Gandhinagar, Gujarat — The State SWAGAT Online Public Grievance Redressal Programme, originally set for April 23, 2026, has been postponed. This change comes as the state adheres to the Model Code of Conduct related to upcoming local body elections.
Typically held on the fourth Thursday of every month, this month’s SWAGAT session will now take place on the fifth Thursday instead, on April 30. Citizens can submit their complaints between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM that day. The Chief Minister’s Public Relations Unit has requested everyone to take note of this revised schedule.
During the last State SWAGAT in March, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel listened to public grievances firsthand and directed district administrations on effective resolutions. Following a ‘Nagrik Devo Bhava’ approach, officials are expected to address citizen concerns promptly.
A press release from the Chief Minister’s Office noted that over 100 citizens participated in March’s session. In light of these engagements, it’s clear that the government aims for timely and transparent solutions to strengthen public trust.
The march meeting saw key officials like Principal Secretary Sanjeev Kumar and Additional Principal Secretary Dr. Vikrant Pandey in attendance, along with Collectors and senior officers from various districts.
