A social media influencer in Ahmedabad, Parth Parmar, is in hot water after staging a fake accident scene for a promotional video. The incident took place near HL College in Navrangpura and reportedly caused significant traffic disruption.
While filming, Parmar didn’t have permission from any local authorities. This lack of foresight led to chaos as he shot his video amid regular commuter traffic, inconveniencing many drivers and pedestrians.
The B Division traffic police were alerted to the situation once the video surfaced. They quickly moved to file a complaint against Parmar and two accomplices involved in the shoot. The police registered charges under multiple sections: Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) sections 45 and 285, along with Motor Vehicles Act (MV) sections 122 and 177.
As part of their investigation, officers seized both the car and motorcycle used during the staged accident. It’s unclear how this incident will impact Parmar’s career as an influencer moving forward.
