The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) is building a new library and yoga centre at Harni Sculpture Park.
This project is being carried out under the Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Urban Development Scheme at a cost of around ₹2.40 crore, and construction work has already started.The complex will be built on an area of about 450 square metres.
The yoga centre will cover 200 square metres and can accommodate around 50 people. It is being designed with good ventilation and natural light.An e-library will also be developed in a 100 square metre area, with seating for about 35 people.
The facility will also have separate toilets for men and women, along with parking space for visitors.
